Our Story
Founded by Nigel Fosdyke, the business originally supplied plastics to the trade industry. As our reputation grew, so did our services. Today, we supply and install everything from PVCu windows, composite doors, aluminium bifolds, warmer conservatories, kitchens, bathrooms and many more for trade, domestic and commercial customers.
As we expanded, we have built a strong network of tradespeople that we know personally – many of whom have been friends for years. Meaning we only bring skilled, reliable and trustworthy people into our customers homes.
Despite growing, one thing has never changed: every project is treated as if it were our own home.
This commitment to quality and care is why so many of our customers return to us or recommend us to family and friends.

New tilt and turn window installed plus odds and ends (blown windows replaced in the conservatory etc). Really pleased with the work done and Matt (the fitter) was very pleasant and helpful - and explained everything he did. We can thoroughly recommend Unique Home Improvements. Fantastic service from the initial enquiry which was completed virtually until the completion date most recently!
An incredible price which came in £600 cheaper than the nearest competitor! Door fitting is incredible and this is going to save so much money on heating bills by replacing my old (warped!) wooden door! Particularly liked how the payment could be split over a few instalments as well! If you have a question just ask their team they are all very friendly and take the time to explain things!
I believe they cover a very large area around Lincolnshire so reach out and enquire- you have nothing to lose. Installation completion time only took two hours as well!!

Had a french door installed and I'm very happy with the result.Door was not standard and had to be custom made , smooth communication and process from start to finish. Excellent workmanship in my opinion , would recommend !

I actually cannot understand how I have functioned in the adult world without Nige and his team before now.
As a family run business with so many behind the scenes, communication is Hilary we have renovated has been second to none.
We have renovated our lounge (and in true ‘Sort Your Life Out’ style too!!) and there’s been no judgement and lots of care taken as we filled skips and took days to choose each element of the lounge. It’s not come without its challenges that should we have tried to do ourselves we’d have definitely made more damage than good! We’ve had a few curveballs in our 1970s house (such as old original radiators that fell apart coming off the wall 🙈) and Nige and Pete just rolled with them and reassured us and made it all right again so quickly and efficiently and at such a good price. As a family who have had cowboys before and struggle to trust since, I am so amazed by the team and how authentic and genuine they are whilst running a business. They are at the end of the phone throughout the project and every hare brained whim I have or idea has not been a problem.
We started just renovating the lounge but they’re now stuck with us for a while doing so much more because we cannot believe the service and value!
I will quite literally never use anyone else ever again! 🥰

We had French doors supplied and fitted by Unique last week and their fitters did a wonderful job ( it makes a big difference if the company has their own fitters as they do a much better job) ever all the rubbish was taken away and the old doors and even better we had no need to decorate after

Over the years the team at Unique have fitted a front door, all my windows, gutters, sofits and fascias. They provide excellent value for money, have a great team who always do a fantastic job including tidying up after themselves, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. That is why I called on them again to replace a large unit of glass in my bi-fold door that spontaneously shattered on a very hot day. Once again the price was fantastic value with expert workmanship and they took the broken glass panel away. I have had nothing but polite and friendly communication with Unique and if I ever need any further windows or doors in the future, they will be my first port of call.

From start to finish the communication from Nige and the team was great. I had a bathroom refit done by Unique Plastics, they were professional, clean and quick. The job was well planned before the work started and this helped the work run to time. I would highly recommend contacting them.

Had Unique to supply and fit new windows including a bay. All staff were great and very professional and that includes the service provided by the office staff too. Great quality windows, look lovely and chaps who fitted them did a great job and were very professional and respectful of property. Would definitely recommend.

We used Unique for a new set of patio doors and a back door. Tom came out to measure up and confirm a price, he was very informative, friendly and professional. It was a quick turnaround from quote to installation and the guys that came on the day we're amazing. The fitters are really nice people, who clearly take great pride in their job. Not only are we delighted with the finished product, but the whole team have been so kind and we would not hesitate to use this company again, or recommend them to friends and family. A special thank you to Amelia and Nigel for looking after us so well.
